One of the secrets to success in any aspect of your life is to simply condense the nonsense. In the book Essentialism, Greg McKeown repeatedly makes reference to how we need to develop the ability to “decipher the trivial many from the essential few.”
This statement resonated with me so much because I now realize how we all, myself included, get caught up in so many irrelevant things. If we simply learned how to focus and prioritize our daily activities, we’d get so much further ahead.
The ability to achieve your goals both inside and outside of the gym require a similar mindset and attitude.
